Terms of Service
Updated: 2 November 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and VidLab AI ("VidLab", "we", "us"). They cover the VidLab website, dashboard, API, documentation and related tools (the "Service"). By creating an account, creating an API key or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
VidLab gives you one API and one account for many third-party image, video and audio models. You send a request, we run it on a model provider and return the result. Prices, models, limits and features are shown in the Service and in the docs, and they change over time.
Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you may bind it.
- Give us accurate details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API keys. Keep keys secret, store them in environment variables and never put them in public code. Revoke a key on the API keys page if it may have leaked.
- Tell us at once at support@vidlab.ai if you think someone else has used your account.
- One person or company per account. Do not create extra accounts to get around limits, bans or pricing.
Prepaid credit and charges
- The API is prepaid. You add credit to your wallet, and each request holds its price while it runs.
- You are charged only when a request succeeds. A request that fails, times out or is blocked by a model's safety rules is not charged, and its hold is released. Details are in Refunds and Credits.
- The price of a request is fixed when you create it and is the price shown for that model and setting. You can ask for a quote before you run it.
- Credit is added at face value. Credit you added does not expire while your account is open. Monthly credit that comes with a plan resets each month and does not roll over.
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes, where they apply, are added at checkout or are your responsibility.
- We may change prices, models and plans. A change does not affect a request that has already started.
Auto top-up
If you turn on auto top-up, we charge your saved payment method to add credit when your balance drops below the level you set, up to the amounts and limits you set. You can change or turn it off at any time on the Billing page. If a charge is declined several times, we turn auto top-up off and tell you.
Refunds, chargebacks and disputes
Refunds follow the Refunds and Credits page. If you have a problem with a charge, write to us first at support@vidlab.ai. If you start a chargeback or payment dispute, we may pause your wallet and API keys while it is reviewed, and we may close the account if the dispute is not valid.
Rate limits and fair use
Requests that start work are limited per key and per account, as shown in the docs. Do not try to avoid a limit, flood the Service or use it in a way that harms other customers. We may slow or block traffic that threatens the Service.
Your content, inputs and results
"Your content" means the prompts, settings, files and links you send, and the results the Service makes for you.
- Ownership. You keep the rights you have in your inputs. As between you and VidLab, you own the results, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. Results made by AI may be similar to results made for others, and may not be protectable by copyright in some places.
- Licence to us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and transmit your content, only as needed to run the Service, keep it secure, prevent abuse and meet legal duties.
- Model providers. To run a request we send your inputs to the model provider that runs it. Providers have their own safety rules and may refuse a request.
- No training. We do not train models on your content.
- Your responsibility. You confirm you have the rights and permissions for your content, including for any real person's face, voice or likeness, and that your use of the results is lawful. You are responsible for checking results before you publish them.
- Retention. How long we keep content is in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may block a request, remove content, or limit or suspend an account that breaks it.
Availability, changes and support
We work to keep the Service running but do not promise it will always be available or error free. Models and providers can fail or change; we may move a request between providers to keep it working. Current status is on the status page. We may change or remove features, with notice where we reasonably can. Support is by email, see Contact. There is no uptime guarantee unless we agree one with you in writing.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if a payment is disputed or fails, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Service. If we end your account without cause, we refund the unused credit you added. Sections that by nature should continue (ownership, payment, disclaimers, liability) continue after the account ends.
Affiliate program
Every account has a referral link under Affiliate in the dashboard. When a new account signs up through it, you earn $10 in credit once it has paid $50 by card, then 5% of what it pays after that, for as long as it uses VidLab. The first referral link a visitor opens is the one that counts, for 30 days. Your own accounts, cards, devices and networks do not count. Rewards are credit only, never cash, and are held for 30 days. We may withhold or reverse them for fraud, refunds or chargebacks.
Our rights
VidLab and its licensors own the Service, its software, design and brand. These Terms give you only the right to use the Service as described here. If you send feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including for merchantability, fitness for a purpose, accuracy, originality or non-infringement of results. AI results can be wrong, offensive or unexpected.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, VidLab and its owners, staff and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You will defend and hold VidLab harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your content, your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the Service or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.
General
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Refunds and Credits page, are the whole agreement between you and VidLab about the Service. If a part cannot be enforced, the rest stays. If we do not enforce a right, we do not give it up. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them with a sale or merger.
