Acceptable Use Policy
Updated: 2 November 2026
This policy applies to everything you send to, make with or do through VidLab. It is part of the Terms of Service.
Do not make or send
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form. We block it, close the account and report it to the authorities.
- Sexual or intimate images or video of a real person without their consent, including AI-made fakes.
- A real person's face, voice or likeness without their permission, especially to deceive people, impersonate them, or fake an endorsement.
- Content that is illegal where you live or where it is shown, or that helps others commit a crime.
- Content that threatens, harasses or promotes violence or hatred against people or groups.
- Content made to deceive, such as scams, fraud, phishing, fake reviews, fake news presented as real, or election or health disinformation.
- Content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Malware or content meant to harm a device or service.
Do not misuse the Service
- Do not share, sell or publish API keys, or use someone else's account or keys.
- Do not get around rate limits, spend limits, content blocks or billing, including with extra accounts, stolen cards or abused payment disputes.
- Do not probe, scan or attack the Service, other customers or our providers, and do not look for ways to read other people's data. To report a weakness, use our security contact.
- Do not scrape the Service or build a competing service from its answers, and do not resell access without our written agreement.
- Do not use the Service to send unlawful spam.
- Do not send personal data you have no right to send.
Model providers' rules
Each model has its own safety rules. A provider may refuse a request or block a result. A blocked request is not charged. Repeated attempts to get around a block can lead to a suspension.
What we do about a breach
We may reject a request, remove content, pause API keys, suspend or close an account, hold or cancel unused credit where the law allows, and report illegal content to the authorities. We try to warn you first when we can, but we may act at once when safety, the law or the Service is at risk.
Write to support@vidlab.ai with the link or task id. For a security weakness, see Security.
