Seedance 2.5 price per second: every resolution and mode

Updated

Seedance 2.5 price per second by resolution

Seedance 2.5 is billed per second of video you get back. The model page is Seedance 2.5, and the price is the same whether the clip starts from text, from one image or from several reference images.

ResolutionPrice per secondPer minute
480p$0.088$5.28
720p$0.21$12.60
1080p$0.52$31.20

What a clip costs

A clip runs 4 to 30 seconds. These are the totals for common lengths.

Clip length480p720p1080p
5 seconds$0.44$1.05$2.60
10 seconds$0.88$2.10$5.20
15 seconds$1.32$3.15$7.80
30 seconds$2.64$6.30$15.60

The price is held on your wallet when the job starts and charged only if the clip is made.

The modes Seedance 2.5 takes

Every mode below is one call to POST /v1/generations with "model": "seedance-2.5", and every one is priced by resolution and seconds as above.

  • Text to video. Send a prompt, a resolution, a duration and an aspect_ratio of 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
  • Image to video. Add a public https URL in images. The first image is the first frame.
  • Reference images. Send up to 30 images in images to steer the look of the clip.
  • Controls. negative_prompt says what to avoid, and seed repeats a result where the model supports it.

Read the model's params with GET /v1/models/seedance-2.5 and send only the fields it lists.

What changes the price and what does not

The price of a Seedance 2.5 call is the per-second price for its resolution times the seconds of video you ask for. Two things change it: the resolution and the length. These do not: the aspect ratio, sound, the number of reference images, the seed and the negative prompt. The price is fixed when you create the generation, and it does not change with the route that runs the job.

A budget example

Twenty clips of 10 seconds at 720p are 200 seconds of video. On VidLab that is $42.00. On Higgsfield it is $68.60. Draft the same twenty at 480p first and the draft costs $17.60, so you pick the keepers before you spend on the larger size.

Reference video price

A call with a video input is priced at the reference-video rate: $0.06 at 480p, $0.15 at 720p and $0.34 at 1080p per second. See Cheap Seedance 2.5 API with reference video for how the seconds are counted.

  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"model":"seedance-2.5","input":{"resolution":"1080p","duration":15}}'
