What changed for agents using VidLab, newest first. The API's own changes are in the docs pages they touch.

## 2026-11-03

- The `vidlab` CLI is on npm: `npx @vidlab/cli models --kind video`, or `npm install -g @vidlab/cli` once. See [CLI](/vidlab-api/docs/cli).
- `npx skills add https://vidlab.ai` installs the VidLab skill for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and the other agents the open skills tool supports, from this site (`/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json`).
- New AI agents docs: this section, with a page for each agent and a troubleshooting page.
- The skill now gives agents the REST calls step by step (find, read, upload, run, save) with a `curl` example.
- Format runs: the skill caps them with `max_price_usd`, the field a format run takes. A model run's cap stays `max_cost_usd`.
- Codex: the skill installs to `~/.agents/skills`, where Codex reads skills.
